Radical Neighbouring Release Event Q+A
Question:
The word spiritual is what for me I can hang the success of my life on [...] but it's it's a it's like a turnoff for everyone, I can't use that word it's a scary word and so I'm just wondering if you have a word or a way of defining that hole that makes everything work?
Answer:
I mean spirit is just breath so I'm breathing today it's quite a blessing to still be breathing. I use about a thousand words for that, I mean I love the word, sometimes I use the word landscape because it's very evident to me as someone who eats mostly just from one little place I can see myself arising again each day from the land and that's a huge feature that, to see the dent in the land from each each of my meals. Having the puppy here now and seeing how much meat she eats, so I took her off kibble right off and we have to raise quite a few more animals so she's got work to do and protecting the gardens and the corn crop and so, you know, I can see there's a dent in this place because she she's around. And so that's it's that's something that feels like it's not a light thing to carry around, to get to see it in a way that would be very difficult to see at the grocery store because the shelves, aren't they set up so that the the item behind just immediately refeeds? there's no dent left even, at least in the in the in the refrigerator case, it's set up so that everything is just immediately refeeding so you don't ever get to see the dent from your decision to have another meal so that's maybe one way to describe it. There's a sorrow in it but it's it's an it's an alive sorrow I guess for me.
